Tianming Xuanniao Game Studio recently announced that the premium multiplayer game "Sudden Shadow: Crimson Moon Slaughter," built with Unreal Engine 5, will launch its public demo test on August 25 at 10:00 AM. The test will run until 5:00 PM on August 31. PC players can download and experience it on Steam.
This is not the official release, but a limited-time public demo. The demo will be taken offline after the test period ends, and the development team will collect feedback from this round to continue refining the game content. The official team encourages interested players to add the game to their Steam wishlist and has also opened a community group for player feedback.
"Sudden Shadow: Crimson Moon Slaughter" combines identity deduction with actual combat, breaking away from the traditional pure dialogue and voting model of Werewolf-style games. Matches are divided into two factions: the 7-member Secret Fire Order must eliminate infection sources on the map and escort survivors to safety; the 3 Underworld Apostles secretly sabotage efforts and accelerate the land's corruption, leading to a final climax when the Blood Moon rises. Each character possesses unique combat skills and magical abilities, while the Apostles have exclusive special skills. Players can engage in debate and deduction or draw their swords for direct combat, offering multiple paths to victory.
Issues collected during the previous closed beta have been adjusted and optimized in this public test version. The game features a dark fantasy art style and includes multiple playable characters, such as a female samurai. It has been confirmed as a premium title for PC, with the full version scheduled for release in Q3 2026. The specific release date has not yet been officially announced.
