As the 26th "One Piece Day" came to a close, the producers of One Piece announced two new animated feature films. At the same time, an official trailer featuring the logos for both films was released.
One Piece Film: God Valley Arc is scheduled for release in Japan in summer 2027, coinciding with the 30th anniversary of Eiichiro Oda's original manga serialization. The film will focus on the "God Valley Incident," which took place 38 years before the main storyline, when Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp joined forces to defeat Rocks D. Xebec, causing God Valley to vanish from the world map.
The other film, titled One Piece Film: BAAD, is set for release in 2029 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the One Piece anime adaptation. Plot details and other information have not yet been announced.
