Another surprise attack from Bethesda? A few days ago, the official statement mentioned that a new update for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition was still in development. On August 19, they suddenly announced that the update would go live today, August 20, primarily to expand the mod storage limit for the console versions of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition.
·Previously, the PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S versions of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition only supported 5GB of mod storage capacity. It is currently unknown how much this update will expand the limit, and it is also unclear whether the Nintendo Switch version will receive an expansion.
·The developers also recommend that players who haven't logged into the game for a long time manually save their game and mod data before updating to prevent any potential issues.
