This next-generation realistic truck simulator, built on Unreal Engine 5, debuted its first gameplay footage during the Opening Night Live stream.
Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive today announced the release date for the next-generation truck simulation game "Highway Heroes," with a new trailer unveiled during the Opening Night Live stream at Gamescom 2026. The game is officially scheduled for release on March 11, 2027. Players will drive a 40-ton semi-trailer truck across the vast and vibrant landscapes of the southern United States, delivering various goods while facing numerous crises caused by natural disasters and human-made hazards.

Players will build their own freight empire from scratch. Starting with just one truck, a plan, and a reputation to establish. Every completed delivery and every mile driven builds your prestige, allowing a lone rookie to grow into a business owner, establishing their own transport company one job and one trip at a time.
Leveraging Unreal Engine 5 to create a vivid and realistic open world, combined with intense disaster events, every journey offers a cinematic immersive experience. Ordinary drivers transform into true highway heroes.
"Highway Heroes" will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on March 11, 2027.
