On August 25, Meowgical Binding, a tactical roguelike masterpiece co-developed by Edmund McMillen (creator of the legendary roguelike The Binding of Isaac) and Tyler Glaiel (creator of Closure), was officially announced to appear in the "Opening Night Live" broadcast at tomorrow's Gamescom.
Edmund stated that Ridiculon, the band behind the soundtracks for both The Binding of Isaac and Meowgical Binding, will perform a special live set and announce long-awaited news for fans. Additionally, Edmund revealed that he and Tyler are working on a small free DLC for the game. He acknowledged player feedback such as "I don't want the game to end" and "After 250 hours, my house is full of meows and hard to manage," asking players for a bit more time as they plan to optimize and improve the experience.
Meowgical Binding is now available on Steam and Nintendo Switch 2. The Opening Night Live at Gamescom will be held at 1:15 AM on Wednesday, August 26, with the live performance starting approximately one hour into the show.
