Following its reveal at the Summer Game Fest 2026, The Wolf Among Us Remake, jointly developed by Telltale and PM Studios, has been officially confirmed for release on October 29, 2026. It will launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch platforms.

To coincide with the release date announcement, the official team has released a brand-new trailer. The most notable addition is the new "Film Noir Mode." This visual filter aims to recreate the retro aesthetic of classic detective films, adding a unique atmospheric layer to this narrative adventure adapted from DC Vertigo's comic series Fables.
The Wolf Among Us Remake is co-developed by PM Studios and Telltale, with Warner Bros. Games handling publishing. Alongside the announcement of this remake, it was also confirmed that the highly anticipated sequel, The Wolf Among Us 2, is still in development. Back in 2024, addressing rumors about setbacks in the sequel's development, Telltale officially responded: "We do not comment on rumors and unverified online posts, but development on The Wolf Among Us 2 is ongoing, and we will share more with players at the appropriate time."
Currently, Telltale has not announced a specific release window for The Wolf Among Us 2.
