Star Wars: Zero Company Receives a 9/10 from IGN: Worth Playing Two or Three Times!

"Star Wars: Zero Company" is a single-player turn-based tactical game developed jointly by Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment. Set during the final stages of the Clone Wars, players assume the role of Hawke, a former Republic officer, leading an elite mercenary squad known as "Zero Company." The team comprises characters from across the galaxy, including clone troopers, Jedi, and Mandalorians, united to combat a crisis threatening the entire galaxy. Players can extensively customize Commander Hawke's appearance, species, voice, and name, while freely configuring squad members' skills and equipment to create unique tactical lineups.

IGN has given it a positive review with a score of 9, stating: "Star Wars: Zero Company is an excellent tactical game that excels in creating a cinematic audiovisual experience."

IGN (9/10):

"Star Wars: Zero Company" is an outstanding tactical game that excels in delivering a cinematic audiovisual experience, staying true to the legacy of the Star Wars Jedi series. Additionally, the game features vibrant character development and a refreshing storyline where the protagonist is not a Force user, and the villains break away from traditional tropes.

This title places greater emphasis on cooperation and tactical flexibility, featuring smaller, more compact maps that encourage players to adopt distinctly aggressive strategies. While it may not boast the legendary replayability of XCOM 2 (which kept me engaged for a full decade), its lengthy story campaign is still worth completing at least two or three times—only then can you experience all the content and truly master its nuanced combat system and skill synergies.
