With just six days left until the opening of Gamescom 2026, CDPR released a new content trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. A studio representative assured that the upcoming major expansion, Old Times, would not reveal key plot points.
Fabian Mario Della, the executive in charge of corporate communications and PR, revealed this news on social media. The German PR head posted a photo from a closed-door showcase, although it only showed the demo's title screen. The post received support from Expansion Director Sebastian Kalemba and many fans eagerly awaiting the official reveal. He stated, "We strive to ensure that the Old Times demo maintains an ideal balance between showcasing new content and avoiding major spoilers."
Fabian added that this applies whether you attend the event in person or watch the REDStreams series recordings. The studio representative also admitted that seeing Geralt of Rivia return after so many years was an "incredible feeling" for the team. The Witcher 3: Old Times expansion is scheduled for release in 2027.
