Reportedly, Ubisoft is preparing to re-announce Beyond Good & Evil 2 under a new title. Considering the extensive reworks and changes the game has allegedly undergone since its announcement in 2018, this move seems reasonable.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 has undergone countless changes during its development over the past few years, so it may be vastly different from the game we remember.

Nash claims that Ubisoft will bring the game back into the public eye at a major event later this year, with the 2026 Game Awards (TGA) being the most likely opportunity.
The leaker's source also told him that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is being developed on the highly scalable Voyager engine.
Although he didn't confirm whether a Switch 2 port would be released, this information is essentially a "if you know, you know" hint, suggesting we might see the game on this handheld console in the future. However, it's best to remain cautious about these leaks until Ubisoft officially confirms them.
