On August 9, No Man's Sky celebrated its 10th anniversary. To mark this milestone, Hello Games released a new trailer for the game, reviewing the achievements of the past decade and announcing the next major update, "COSMOS".

Over the past decade, No Man's Sky has received 40 major free updates, significantly enriching the game's content by adding features such as base building, enhanced vehicles, settlements, mechs, pets, living ships, and expeditions. The game is now available on nearly all major platforms. Sean Murray, founder and head of Hello Games, stated that tens of millions of players have visited No Man's Sky over these ten years, spending hundreds of millions of hours in its nearly infinite universe. With less than 1% of the total planets explored by players, Murray believes this leaves enormous room for the game's future development.
Currently, Hello Games is preparing for the next major update, "COSMOS." The studio has not yet revealed details about the update, leaving its content a mystery. However, the developers emphasized that they still have ambitious plans for No Man's Sky.
The 10th anniversary also brings to mind the game's rocky start. Ten years ago, the title faced intense backlash due to technical issues and failure to meet some players' expectations, even being labeled one of the biggest scams in gaming history. However, Hello Games persisted in supporting No Man's Sky, gradually transforming it into one of the most undeniably well-managed games in history.
