According to the document, the Switch 2 version of "It Takes Two" will have a physical release, but it will use a "Game-Key Card" format, meaning the cartridge contains only a download key rather than the full game data. The digital version is listed as approximately 12.1GB in size.

"It Takes Two" was initially released in March 2021 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms, and launched on Nintendo Switch in 2022. The game received widespread acclaim for its innovative co-op gameplay and rich level design, winning three awards at the 2021 TGA ceremony: Game of the Year, Best Family Game, and Best Multiplayer Game. To date, "It Takes Two" has sold over 30 million copies, making it Hazelight Studios' best-selling title.

Meanwhile, Hazelight Studios, the developer of "It Takes Two," is already preparing its fourth title. Studio founder Josef Fares previously confirmed that development of the new game has entered the motion capture phase, though he cleverly covered the faces of the motion capture actors with his hands to avoid spoiling details. The official account also humorously stated that they are "cooking up something truly delicious."
