Wake Island has been a classic map in the series since Battlefield 1942, appearing in both Battlefield 3 and Battlefield V. Now, Wake Island has been updated in Battlefield 6 to fit the game's scale and systems.
While the overall terrain and essence of the original map are preserved, the updated version enhances naval combat, testing players' skills and aquatic warfare capabilities. This includes a new shipwreck objective point in the center of the map, as well as more opportunities for destruction.
Patrol and guard the coastline, destroy bunkers with C-4 explosives, or leverage offshore aircraft carriers. In the new Wake Island campaign, use any means necessary to dominate all fronts.
