Stellar Blade developer Shift Up stated that they are working on unannounced new IPs. The Switch 2 version of Stellar Blade is scheduled for release within 2026.
"In addition to advancing our existing IPs, we are also developing additional new IPs—beyond those already announced—that leverage Shift Up's strengths."
Shift Up stated that development of Stellar Blade: Blood Rain is progressing smoothly,they hope Stellar Blade: Blood Rain will outsell Stellar Blade.

Starting with this title, we are shifting to a self-publishing model, with Shift Up handling distribution directly and leading marketing strategies to fully showcase the IP's identity. Leveraging the original game's proven fanbase and enduring bestseller status, along with our self-publishing capabilities, we aim to connect more closely with global audiences and surpass the previous title's achievements."
Shift Up currently has 442 employees, with 87 new hires in the past three months. There are currently 387 developers and 55 executives/administrative staff.
