Today, August 11, Epic Games announced the sale of ArtStation, a sharing community website dedicated to creators. Going forward, the company will focus on its core businesses such as Unreal Engine.
·ArtStation is a platform for artists and creators to share and distribute their work, including images, animations, 3D scenes, and other formats. Many creators in the gaming industry use it as a versatile portfolio platform. ArtStation launched its services in April 2014. It continued to grow with the addition of community and social networking features, and was acquired by Epic Games in April 2021.
·Epic Games will shift its focus to core businesses including Unreal Engine 6, Fortnite, and its game platform.
