Sony Interactive Entertainment announced today that a new hotfix update for the newly released Marvel Rivals is coming soon, focusing on addressing the optimization and performance issues on the PC version reported by players.
·Recently, many PC players of Marvel Rivals have reported that regardless of their hardware configuration, the PC version suffers from frame drops and stuttering. The optimization is truly abysmal.
It was further analyzed that "this is an issue Arc System Works needs to resolve. Even if you're using an RTX 5090 GPU and a Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, with all settings turned to low, this problem still occurs."
Players hoping to experience Marvel Rivals on Steam Deck were also disappointed to find that the game fails to launch on Steam OS/Linux.
