Background compilation consumes certain CPU resources, which may cause a short-term increase in power consumption.
However, the background compilation process only needs to be executed once in full, and the phone typically reaches its optimal stable power consumption state within about 3 days of normal use.
Users experiencing overheating after upgrading to HyperOS 4 need not worry; simply wait for system compilation to complete to experience full performance.
This is a phase all major system version upgrades go through, aimed at enabling faster response times in subsequent daily use.
One of the biggest highlights of HyperOS 4 is significantly improved smoothness. With bottom-level kernel optimization, the official statement claims it is "seamless and smooth to the core," featuring new load precision calculation and memory pre-loading technologies, paired with a dedicated app runtime environment.
Test data shows that after 9 hours of continuous use, the total launch time for 30 apps decreased by 17.5% compared to HyperOS 3; camera cold start speed was reduced from 1043.6ms to 808.8ms, and rear HDR photo capture speed improved by 23%; the average frame drop rate during long-term short video scrolling was only 0.11%, with smooth, lag-free performance throughout high-load desktop animations and portrait/landscape switching.
