Remedy did not provide a specific reason for the delay of the physical edition, stating only that the team needed more time to produce it. The studio also assured fans that they could rest easy for now.
Upon hearing this news, some online users expressed disappointment that physical edition players would have to wait an extra month and be cautious of spoilers rampant on social media.
The good news is that this should result in a more complete disc version. When players receive the disc in October, the game should come pre-installed with all updates and patches.
