Remedy released its financial report, confirming that Alan Wake 2 has sold over 3 million copies, Control: Resonance has reached 1.5 million wishlists, and the Max Payne 1&2 Remake is now in full production.
The company stated that its internal data shows, "Control: Resonance performed well compared to similar titles during its launch window [...] In the highly competitive fall release window, we believe the game's uniqueness and quality will help it stand out."
Alan Wake 2 was released on October 27, 2023, for PC (Epic), PS5, and Xbox Series. The DLC titled "Night Springs" launched on June 8, 2024, while the second DLC, "The Lake House," was released on October 22, 2024.
According to reports, the game's development and marketing budget reached €70 million, making it one of the most expensive games ever developed and one of Finland's costliest cultural products.
