According to data from analytics firm Sensor Tower, GTA 6 has generated $429 million in pre-order revenue alone, with 4.38 million copies sold. As expected, the PS5 version leads the pack, accounting for 77% of total GTA 6 sales, while Xbox Series X|S makes up the remaining 23%.

According to analysts, GTA 6 has already sold 3.38 million copies on PS5, generating $331 million in pre-order revenue. Meanwhile, sales on Xbox Series X|S have surpassed 1 million units, bringing in $98 million for the platform.

Sensor Tower previously revealed that pre-orders for the $100 Ultimate Edition of GTA 6 far outpaced the Standard Edition, accounting for 89% of total sales—four times the industry average. Thus, it’s no surprise that GTA 6 had already raked in $400 million months before its release.
