The situation in the PC building market is becoming increasingly severe. According to the latest market tracking data, non-reference models of the RTX 50 series have recently seen significant price hikes, with premium levels for multiple models breaking records since launch, reaching a maximum premium of 88%.
Specifically in the domestic market, the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, originally positioned for the mainstream segment, has seen the most exaggerated performance. The official suggested retail price for this graphics card is 3,599 RMB.
However, on major e-commerce platforms like JD.com, the listed prices for many custom models have climbed to around 5,999 RMB, representing an actual premium of up to 67%, which is nearly enough to cover half the budget of a complete PC build.
The international market situation is equally严峻. The suggested retail price for the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB overseas is around $429 (approximately 3,080 RMB), but quotes from some channels have reached $800 (approximately 5,745 RMB), representing an 88% premium.
Meanwhile, the RTX 5070 has also risen significantly from its launch price of $630 to $800.
As for high-end and flagship graphics cards, the price of non-reference RTX 5080 models at some major retailers has increased from $1,289 to $1,699 (approximately 12,200 RMB), a rise of about 31%.
The premium for the flagship RTX 5090 is even more extreme in the European market, with some top-tier custom models priced at over 5,000 euros (approximately 39,600 RMB).
As the AI industry continues to expand its demand for hardware resources, consumers may need to face a period of persistently high PC hardware prices.
