Since its initial release in September 2023, the soulslike action game Lies of P has garnered significant acclaim and cumulative sales of over 4 million copies worldwide, thanks to its dark reimagining of the classic fairy tale Pinocchio. As the title launches on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform as Lies of P: Complete Edition, the work is once again in the spotlight—achieving a Metacritic score of 86, marking the best result in the series' history.
According to review data, the Switch 2 version of Lies of P: Complete Edition performs excellently in terms of graphics and performance optimization, maintaining a stable 60 frames per second in both docked and handheld modes. Developer NOUGH Studio stated that the team maintained a core goal throughout the porting process: to faithfully replicate the controls and combat precision consistent with other versions on the handheld platform.
NOUGH Studio Director Jiwon Choi stated, "When we began the Switch 2 port, our entire team aimed to create an experience faithful to Lies of P on other platforms, accurately conveying the feel of combat controls in handheld play.
