CDPR announced that The Witcher 4 will be released in 2028, launching on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. CD Projekt RED Co-CEO Michal Nowakowski revealed this news in a video.
CDPR stated that they will showcase a full preview of The Witcher 3's new DLC "Old Times" at this year's Gamescom, but will not reveal The Witcher 4, as they are not yet ready. The Witcher 4 will be their largest, boldest, and most ambitious game to date, with a confirmed release in 2028.
It is worth noting that the officials have expressed their hope that everyone will tune in to the special Gamescom program on time every day, as there may be one or two surprises.
