Sega has confirmed that Persona 6 will have a physical release, but only for the PS5 version.
Sega's initial announcement was made before Sony officially announced the discontinuation of physical discs, which is why Persona 6 will have a physical edition.
It's not surprising that the PC version of Persona 6 is digital-only. However, what's surprising is that the Xbox version won't have a physical release.
Although the series has never been exclusive to Xbox, collaboration between Japanese game developers and Xbox has noticeably warmed up in recent years. For instance, Xbox Series is currently the only console where you can play the entire Metal Gear series.
