Recently, gaming blogger Legendary Drops shared his impressions after playing Phantom Blade Zero for several hours. Due to a non-disclosure agreement, he could only reveal some abstract aspects of his experience, but this information still helps provide insight into the current state of the game.

Drops compared Phantom Blade Zero to Black MYTH - Steam Edition: Wukong, noting similarities in various design aspects. However, he emphasized that this title is not a Soulslike game. Although some mechanics resemble those found in Soulslikes, the overall framework leans more towards traditional action games.

Phantom Blade Zero delivers an outstanding performance. Players' different choices regarding side NPCs and side bosses directly alter the level experience. In a second playthrough of the same level, bosses will unlock two additional exclusive combat phases. Numerous such hidden branching designs run throughout the game, and missing side content means losing out on rich experiences.

Please note that the demo version may differ from the full release, and individual experiences may not reflect general consensus. Players are advised to approach leaks rationally and focus on the actual performance of the game upon its official launch.
