Astrolabe Interactive's cooperative sandbox survival game "ALOFT" has released its latest update, bringing numerous practical changes. The game has now fully transitioned from a sandbox structure to an open world, along with various new content additions and adjustments.
"ALOFT" is a cooperative sandbox survival game set in a world composed of floating islands. You can soar through the skies, transform any island into a massive airship among the clouds, and build your aerial home. Seek lost knowledge, heal the fungal corruption, brave hurricanes, and restore the islands' ecosystems.
In this update, a new adventure companion for players makes its debut: the Wind Spirit. More than just a pet, it offers abilities such as changing wind direction and healing the Tree of Life.
Additionally, the original regional sandbox restrictions have been removed, officially transforming the game into an open world, granting players greater freedom and expansiveness in their actions.
Other additions include a new ecosystem and a new skill called "Ancient Memory," which enhances player character abilities. The game engine has been upgraded to Unity 6, resulting in improvements to both visuals and systems, along with other fixes and adjustments.
