Today (August 26), during the Opening Night Live at Gamescom 2026, a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth was revealed, showcasing battle scenes. The game is scheduled for release in spring 2027. Check out the video below!

Soar through the skies in an airship, explore a vast world, and take on fully evolved battles alongside your companions. The planet's colossal weapons have all awakened. Indiscriminate in their destruction, they wreak havoc across the land. As Cloud and his party confront Sephiroth, they must also face these titanic foes. This installment introduces the FITS system, which features special appearances based on job classes, paying homage to the classic jobs from the Final Fantasy series.
