The Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang faction, making its debut here, starts with 20,000 funds, 65,000 rations, and 30,000 soldiers, with a difficulty rating of three stars. Its exclusive policy recreates the historical maxim "Build high walls, store ample grain, and delay claiming kingship," offering unique internal development gameplay. It also features Ming Dynasty civil officials and generals such as Xu Da, Chang Yuchun, Liu Bowen, Li Shanchang, and Empress Ma. In addition to emperors from various dynasties, Wu Song, one of the Outlaws of the Marsh, joins the game as a new ancient general.
This title not only adds hypothetical scenarios but also brings numerous system-level upgrades: a new military reconnaissance system allows you to dispatch generals to gather intelligence, which can enhance sowing discord, false reports, and diplomatic schemes; expired intelligence may even yield false information. Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV: Power-Up Kit Legacy Edition will be released on September 10 for PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, and Switch. On Steam, it will be available in two versions: the Complete Edition bundle for 288 yuan and the Upgrade Pack for existing players for 128 yuan.
