Recently, the release trailer for the new Souls-like title Mortal Shell 2 was announced. Players who purchased the Devout Edition have already unlocked early access, with the current peak concurrent players on Steam reaching 23,008. The Standard Edition will launch on August 20, available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.

The Devout Edition of Mortal Shell 2 grants 72-hour early access to the full game and includes exclusive Obsidian skins for all eight Shells. Standard Edition players must wait until August 20 for unlock. This title features a larger open world, with numerous new enemies and bosses added. The classic Shell possession mechanic returns, with each Shell offering unique abilities and combat styles; when the character suffers a fatal blow, the protagonist, the Harros, will fight briefly without a Shell.
