The latest film in the X-Men series returns to its roots. Marvel has officially announced that the new X-MEN movie will premiere in the US on May 5, 2028. Seven main cast members appeared at the press conference. Stay tuned.
·Marvel Studios' X-MEN will be directed by Jake Schreier, director of Thunderbolts*. The screenplay is written by Lee Sung Jin, creator of Beef, and Joanna Calo, co-creator of The Bear. The story will follow a coming-of-age theme, focusing on the original five X-Men from the comics plus three additional members. Wolverine is confirmed not to appear.
Additionally, characters including Professor X, who will appear in Avengers: Doomsday releasing on December 18, are also set to join this film. Stay tuned.
