The demo for "Hidden Detective," a full-motion interactive live-action video game set against the backdrop of Republican-era espionage, is now available on Steam, allowing players to experience part of this new title in advance.

Set in the Republic of China era during the 1920s, "Hidden Detective" casts players as agent "Hu Yang," thrust into a chessboard of espionage where lies and truths intertwine. As the story unfolds, players must not only uncover the secrets behind the times but also gradually investigate the mystery of their own origins, facing difficult choices between country, faith, and love. According to the official introduction, the game features full-motion video (FMV) with live actors, where players' different choices will influence the plot's development. When confronted with dilemmas involving loved ones versus country, or faith versus betrayal, players must decide for themselves what final fate awaits Hu Yang.
"Hidden Detective" has invited several actors from "The Invisible Guardian" to join its cast, sparking considerable interest in the title. Pan Mingyun plays Gu Keqing; she previously portrayed Muto Junko in "The Invisible Guardian." An Yongchang plays Leng Zhirou; she previously played Fang Min in "The Invisible Guardian." Tian Yifan plays Chan Juan; he previously portrayed Zhuang Xiaoman in "The Invisible Guardian."
