At COMPUTEX 2026, NVIDIA officially unveiled the RTX Spark, marking its entry into the consumer PC processor market. The new product is positioned as a brand-new category of processor, designed specifically for Windows 11 PCs built for personal AI. Rumors suggest that NVIDIA has already secured the first batch of RTX Spark PCs, targeting a release this fall, with initial offerings from ASUS and MSI.
According to Wccftech, ASUS recently revealed during the Q&A session of its quarterly earnings call that its channel partners had pre-ordered all laptops equipped with RTX Spark. A similar situation occurred at MSI, which confirmed substantial orders from customers in China and the United States for laptops featuring RTX Spark, with the more powerful "N1X" version nearly sold out.
Given the strong sales prospects for the new RTX Spark PCs, both ASUS and MSI have placed orders with NVIDIA to procure a new batch of RTX Spark chips.
NVIDIA offers four models based on different CPU core counts and GPU SM scales: two variants each for N1X and N1. According to previous reports, even laptops using the relatively lower-end N1 model may start at $1,799, while those with the high-end N1X model are expected to cost no less than $2,899. NVIDIA also provides a reference laptop design specification that all OEMs must follow when launching products equipped with RTX Spark, incorporating features found in current high-end laptops.
Analysts point out that although RTX Spark PCs are priced higher, they boast a solid hardware foundation. On one hand, they inherit the Blackwell architecture GPU's strong support for gaming and creative applications; on the other, their unified memory design, supporting up to 128GB, benefits AI applications by providing up to 1 PFLOPS of FP4 AI computing power, enabling local operation of AI models with 120 billion parameters.
