At the Opening Night Live event at Gamescom, publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Iceflake Studios announced LEGO Skylines, a spin-off of Cities: Skylines. This cozy and customizable city-building game is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam. A specific release date has not yet been announced.
Lasse Liljedahl, Co-founder and Game Director at Iceflake Studios, stated in the press release: "Most of us at Iceflake grew up playing with LEGO, and that passion has continued to this day. As LEGO fans, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to combine our creative drive with the experience we've accumulated over the years in deep management and simulation games. With LEGO Skylines, we hope to turn city building into a more personalized experience, where only your imagination limits what kind of city you can build. We can't wait to see how players bring their dreams to life in the game."
