"Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition" for NS2 is set to release on August 28th. Foreign media got an early hands-on experience with the game today, praising its excellent optimization. Fans of the series can purchase it with confidence.
·Both docked TV mode and handheld mode for "Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition" on NS2 are capped at 30 FPS. The upside is that the official optimization is exceptional, with no issues like stuttering, frame drops, or screen tearing. However, ray tracing technology is not included, so there won't be any visual improvements compared to other platforms.
·Additionally, game load times were tested, including game startup, restarts, and fast travel, all taking around 10 seconds. This is about twice as long as the 5 seconds seen on PC and PS5 versions with SSD hardware, but significantly faster than the 20 seconds typical of HDD hardware.
·As for whether it's worth buying, this version is suitable for those who already own a Switch 2 console and have never deeply played the game before. The hardcore design of this title isn't very well-suited for handheld mode.
