GTA 6 is set to debut with an extended preview on Netflix at 3 AM on August 28, but multiple clips have already been leaked and are spreading like wildfire on social media. According to online sources, this leak stems from an older build from late 2023.

First, the video shows Jason playing basketball. While this is far from the most exciting part of the game, it demonstrates the overall motion and animation quality.
Rockstar seems to have retained the motion and animation style of Red Dead Redemption 2 in GTA 6. Video clips also show a very clean user interface, though these elements may have been adjusted by now.
Driving mechanics seem to draw inspiration from GTA IV, while the combat style is closer to the slower-paced combat of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Likewise, these leaks also give us a glimpse into the GTA 6 map. The map is said to include five separate counties, with images highlighting specific areas such as Gloria Island, Tequesta Retreat, and Catalina Island.
Of course, most importantly, Rockstar and Take-Two have issued copyright complaints against some videos showcasing these leaks. Therefore, the authenticity of these leaks is almost beyond doubt at this point.
