Capcom announced that the global download count for the Onimusha: Way of the Sword demo has surpassed 2 million. The development team thanked players for their support and highlighted another significant milestone achieved by the community.
During a special event, players worked together to accumulate 10 million "Issen" strikes. As a reward for reaching this goal, Capcom will distribute "Akadama Ichi," a useful in-game resource that helps players progress through the full version of the game, to all players.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword will launch on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2026.
