Nintendo has announced that the upcoming update for its classic game Splatoon 3 will be released on August 20. As the first major update in a while, this patch primarily introduces several balance adjustments.
With these changes, some primary weapons now find it more difficult to safely ink dead zones or maintain pressure on opponents, making these tasks harder than before. Other primary weapons have been adjusted with the aim of enhancing their unique characteristics and improving ease of use.
In addition, special weapon point costs have been adjusted, and certain issues related to Squid Surge have been fixed.
