Publisher North Beach Games and developer North Beach Games Prague have revealed the first trailer and initial screenshots for Stranded Deep 2, which was first announced in August 2024.
Led by Sam Edwards, co-founder and creative director of Stranded Deep, this game expands the survival sandbox experience into a new desert wilderness setting. Stranded Deep 2 is planned for Early Access on PC via Steam.

Stranded Deep 2 is the latest entry in the series, taking you deep into a beautiful yet perilous desert wilderness. Stranded in the desert, alone and without rescue, an endless river winds its way through a world full of life, danger, and discovery. The desert doesn't care if you survive. You must earn your right to live here. And you will. Every tool, every discovery, every step deeper into the wilderness comes from surviving long enough and exploring far enough. As you delve deeper, you'll find that the desert means much more than just survival.

Explore an endless river world—the river winds through canyons, dunes, and valleys, connecting vast desert landscapes dotted with meticulously crafted points of interest. Paddle a kayak or raft, challenging turbulent waters and treacherous currents. Each world is unique, and every journey holds its own significance.
Build your home, take it with you—scavenge for resources, craft tools, and build a floating house on the river. Pack up and head to the next stretch of river, or settle down on the riverbank. Everythinggj you build can be taken with you.
Survive! —Nature is your enemy. Manage your health, hunger, thirst, and exposure to survive each day. Dangers are easy to spot if you know what to look for. Low growls in the distance, footprints on the sand, rushing currents. Stay alert, and you'll live.

Craft your own gear—Everythinggj you craft depends on the resources you find. Choose the materials needed for each part of your tools. The same principle applies when building structures. Upgrade and customize your gear as you discover better materials.
Create your own world—the improved Cartographer Editor lets you create your own locations and experiences, add them to your world, and share them with friends on any platform.
Stranded Deep 2 incorporates ten years of feedback from the player community and is committed to continuous growth. We will regularly update content, adding new biomes, locations, wildlife, and crafting systems to create a world that becomes richer over time, giving you more reasons to explore.
