Recently, Lingxi Games CEO Zhou Bingshu sent an internal email to all employees, confirming that Xincheng Capital has officially become the new shareholder of Lingxi Games. The official statement described the transaction as completed in a friendly, stable, and win-win atmosphere. Both the original shareholder, Alibaba, and the new entrant, Xincheng Capital, affirmed Lingxi Games' corporate value and the team's past contributions, while also expressing expectations for the company's future development.
The internal letter mentioned that this equity transfer stems from Alibaba's strategic focus on its overall layout, formally handing over Lingxi Games to Xincheng Capital. Xincheng Capital is a leading private equity investment institution in Asia, with accumulated industrial resources and post-investment empowerment experience. It will subsequently provide resources and comprehensive support for Lingxi Games' development.
Regarding the company's future operations, Zhou Bingshu clearly stated in his letter: The management team will remain unchanged. Lingxi Games currently owns popular titles such as "Three Kingdoms Tactics" and "Like a Kite." Previous rumors that shareholder Alibaba would sell this business have attracted widespread attention both within and outside the industry.
