Renowned video game voice actor Robin Atkin Downes has announced his involvement in Naughty Dog.exe's upcoming title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. He shared the news on social media, where a video showed his excitement, though he did not reveal which character he will be playing.
Robin Atkin Downes previously portrayed Robert in Naughty Dog.exe's The Last of Us. Over the years, he has lent his voice to dozens of games. He also voiced the Medic in Team Fortress 2, Travis Touchdown in No More Heroes, and Spider in Destiny 2: Forsaken. Additionally, Downes voices Ballistic in Apex Legends.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is currently in development for PS5, but little is known about the game, including its release date. Set thousands of years in the future, the story follows bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun, played by Tatiana Gabrielle, who becomes stranded on a distant planet called Sempira.
Development of this game began in 2020, with the soundtrack composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross. Other confirmed cast members include Kumail Nanjiani, Tony Dalton, Troy Baker, and Merle Dandridge.
