On August 25, SpiralAI officially launched "RyzaChat: A Special Summer Dream Story Created with AI Ryza" in Japan. This is a free, script-based AI chat RPG officially licensed by Koei Tecmo Games, set in the world of the popular "Atelier Ryza 1-3" series. Players can advance through travel, synthesis, and battles simply by "conversing."
The game currently supports six languages: Japanese, English, Portuguese (Brazil), Indonesian, Hindi, and Traditional Chinese. SpiralAI also announced that a global version supporting these six languages will be released soon.
SpiralAI established five principles during development, emphasizing respect for the original work and its creators:
1. Artwork and visuals are created by humans
2. Voices use original recordings combined with proprietary synthesis technology
3. Text uses the self-developed "SpiralLLM" model
4. Faithful recreation of the original world setting
5. Revenue sharing to support creators
This title has no fixed script; daily conversations with Ryza directly drive the story forward. Whether it's "I want to go to the forest to gather materials today," "I want to learn new synthesis methods," or "I want to open a shop," the more you converse, the richer Ryza's responses become, shaping your unique summer story together. The game offers an "RPG Mode" to progress the plot and a "Casual Chat Mode" to relax with Ryza.
