Mass Effect-like game The Great EXODUS™ release date announced: Developer Archetype Entertainment revealed at Gamescom that the title will launch on April 7, 2027, on PC (Steam, Epic), PS5, and Xbox Series.
The official new gameplay trailer was released at Gamescom, highlighting two of protagonist Jun's teammates, who possess different abilities and provide battlefield support. In combat, players can switch between teammates Salt and Amris via a radial UI to utilize their unique skills.
Salt
Piloting a specialized combat mech, Salt excels at long-range sniping, quick dodges, and deploying ink-like smoke bombs to confuse and disrupt enemies. She shines where others cannot, and in battle, no one guards Jun's back better than she does.
Jun and Salt, strangers from vastly different worlds, find themselves back-to-back against a common enemy, fighting not just for survival, but to protect the only thing worth returning to: home.
Amris
Salt is not the only one fighting alongside Jun. Amris, a member of the Celestials—a mysterious celestial race composed of multiple consciousnesses—has also joined the battle.
Amris plays a support role, launching phantom orbs that drain and weaken enemies while channeling stolen power back to Jun for protection.
