Orbitals, a retro anime-style co-op game developed by Tokyo-based developer Shapefarm and published by game publisher and creative studio Kepler Interactive, officially launches today on Nintendo Switch™ 2.

In Orbitals, players team up as Maki and Omura, inseparable exploration partners, to face the dangers of space and save their crumbling space station home. Inspired by classic anime from the 80s and 90s, the game features a beautifully crafted space universe and rich co-op gameplay. Join forces with a friend to change your fate in this unforgettable journey across the stars.
Players can enjoy local co-op on the same console, or play together via GameShare or the Global Friend Pass. The Global Friend Pass (available for free download on the Nintendo eShop) includes a local demo version, allowing players to try the game before purchasing the full version. With the game's release today, the complete original soundtrack for Orbitals is also now available, featuring the opening theme "Accelerating Fate" and the ending theme "Heart to Heart," both performed by Japanese singer-songwriter Mami Ayukawa. Orbitals is now available exclusively on Nintendo Switch™ 2, with both digital and physical editions launching simultaneously.
