Justdan, the publisher and distributor, has officially released the demo for its first self-developed action RPG Roguelike game, "Dinghai," on the PC Steam platform on August 25th, along with introductions to some characters and weapons. "Dinghai" is an oriental fantasy game set against the backdrop of the "Classic of Mountains and Seas" and "Yu the Great Taming the Flood." Combining a fluid dual-weapon combat system with an epic narrative Roguelike structure, it leads players on a grand mythological adventure. The game is scheduled for official release in 2026.
Demo Content Revealed: Experience the Unique Roguelike Action Charm
The estimated playtime for this demo is 2 hours. It opens up two map levels, "Huxiu" and "Buzhou Mountain," along with hidden elements for players to conquer and explore.
At the end of each run in the game, you will obtain random abilities called "Artifacts." There are four main categories: "Attack, Survival, Mystery, and Element." These can stack personal abilities, add weapon move derivations, weaken enemies, and provide other enhancement effects, allowing each cyclical adventure to increase combat advantages and fun.
Freely Configure Dual Weapons, Weave Your Exclusive Combo Style
During your exploration, you can equip "any dual weapons" and flexibly switch between melee and ranged attacks based on the battle situation. Each weapon possesses unique characteristics, such as the "Baixiao Sword" that conjures biting cold, or the "Ebony Bow" that fires deadly poison arrows. By combining different weapons, you can craft a combat style that is uniquely yours.
Melee Weapon: Baixiao Sword
A one-handed sword specializing in turning water into ice, featuring the ability to trigger "Cold Circle" attacks. In addition to dealing normal damage, it also reduces enemy attack power and slows them down, making it a weapon that combines offense and crowd control. Through artifacts obtained in the game, the weapon's crowd control capabilities can be further enhanced, such as triggering enemy stuns; or increasing the number of hits and damage of the Cold Circle.
Ranged Weapon: Ebony Bow
A ranged weapon adept at large-scale battles. Activating the weapon skill generates a deadly "Poison Mist," causing enemies within range to continuously lose health and become poisoned. When combined with specific artifacts, the Poison Mist can evolve to "automatically chase" enemies, or additionally summon "Earth Poison Bugs" that track enemies and explode for area-of-effect damage. Combined with the bow's inherent flexible mobility, it allows for easy distancing on the battlefield, making it a highly mobile weapon excellent for clearing areas.
