Renowned simulation game developer Frontier Developments recently announced that it has reached an agreement with Disney to develop and publish a new game based on Disney's intellectual property portfolio.
The UK developer, known for creative management simulation games such as Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, and Jurassic World Evolution, stated that the new title will be fully funded by Frontier and will build upon its extensive expertise in the creative management simulation genre. The company is also currently developing an unannounced new entry in its Planet series.
Jo Cooke, CEO of Frontier Developments, said in an official press release: "We are delighted to announce this partnership with Disney, which further reinforces our clear strategic focus on developing and nurturing world-class creative management simulation IPs." She added, "Our mission with this game is to connect our highly creative player community with one of the most iconic and beloved brands in the world. Currently, officials have not revealed further details about the game, including specific gameplay mechanics, platforms, or release window.
