During tonight's PlayStation State of Play, Korean developer Pearl Abyss announced the first DLC for "Red Desert," titled "Chartering the Unknown," launching on October 15. It adds city-building mechanics, underwater exploration, drivable boats, and much more.
The DLC's story takes place after the main storyline and continues the game's narrative, so it is recommended that players who haven't completed the main story finish it first to prepare for the new DLC experience.
We are not yet sure about the price of this expansion, but it certainly won't be free. Players who pre-order will receive a deep-sea diver outfit as an extra bonus. If you're already overwhelmed by the sheer number of games releasing in September and October, Pearl Abyss's new title will definitely give you something new to sink dozens of hours into.
