Today at Sony's State of Play event, a new trailer was revealed for the "Wildspire" DLC for Monster Hunter Wilds, introducing the new Elder Dragon, the "Thunder Wyvern"! This DLC is scheduled for release in 2027.

Ruling the skies, this Elder Dragon summons lightning from dark clouds. Known as the "Thunder Wyvern," it is said to control storm clouds. Additionally, classic monsters such as Lao-Shan Lung and Kirin will appear in the DLC. The DLC takes place after the main story of the base game. With the emergence of new monsters and the passage of time, the world and characters players are familiar with will undergo significant changes.
