China's First Bionic Medical Robot Unveiled: Debuts in Short-Skirt Nurse Outfit

Recently, UBTECH partnered with Meditech to launch the nation's first bionic medical robot, the Youmai Robot Wellness Edition.This robot can be outfitted with a short-skirt nurse appearance, specifically designed for elderly care and medical wellness scenarios.

Prior to this, UBTECH's ultra-bionic humanoid robot U1 had just won the Asia-Pacific Medical Innovation Award in Hong Kong. The U1 is the world's first life-sized bionic companion robot, featuring bionic skin and an extensive network of facial tendons that enable rich micro-expressions. It comes fully equipped with functions such as eye tracking and sound source localization. It also incorporates a self-developed emotional large language model capable of perceiving human emotions and proactively offering care.

The Youmai Robot Wellness Edition builds upon the U1's hardware foundation by integrating Meditech's medical capabilities.Its appearance can be styled as a nurse to suit scenarios in wellness institutions and home care.

It is not just a chat companion; it is a humanoid robot knowledgeable in medicine and caregiving, providing four key functions: emotional support, medical assurance, wellness environment management, and safety protection.

Currently, there is a significant shortage of nursing staff in China's wellness industry, and this product aims to address this gap.

UBTECH has achieved mass production for this robot series, with full in-house control over its hardware technology chain. The company's business spans three major sectors: industrial, commercial, and home consumer markets.

Of course, bionic medical robots are still in the early stages of deployment, primarily serving as auxiliary caregivers rather than fully replacing human medical staff. In the future, these products will continue to enter wellness institutions and ordinary households, integrating humanoid robots with medical services.

This award, combined with the new product launch, highlights the industry's direction: humanoid robots are no longer confined to exhibition demos but are gradually being deployed in real-world medical and elderly care settings.
