Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a trailer for "Legacy of Heroes," the major DLC for Digimon Story: Time Stranger. This content is scheduled for release in 2027, with the story set three years after the events of the main game.
The production of this major DLC was previously announced at the "DIGIMON CON 2026" event, with a confirmed release window of 2027. This latest announcement reveals the subtitle and the timeline of the story, continuing the narrative of Digimon Story: Time Stranger.
Producer Yoshisuke Hara previously stated that due to the overwhelming player support exceeding expectations, the team decided to develop this major DLC. The new content will also reflect some results from the "139th Digimon Population Census."
Digimon Story: Time Stranger is the latest entry in the "Digimon Story" series, featuring raising simulation RPG elements and turn-based combat. Players take on the role of an agent from the secret organization "ADAMAS," traveling between the human world and the Digital World of Elias to investigate the mystery behind the world's collapse.
The game features over 450 raiseable Digimon, with combat emphasizing team composition and strategy. The storyline revolves around humans and Digimon crossing time and worlds, with "Legacy of Heroes" launching a new adventure on a timeline three years after the main story.
