Trailmark Games has announced that the action-adventure game Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest will officially release on October 24. Developed by Bamtang Games, the title will be available on PC and multiple console platforms.
Inspired by the Warrior Cats novel series, the game allows players to create their own warrior cat, embark on a journey across the lake territories, and take on the responsibility of protecting their clan. Since its debut in 2003, the book series has sold over 90 million copies worldwide.
Players must complete various tasks to earn their clan's recognition and engage in turn-based battles with other cats. As the adventure progresses, characters can be strengthened, learn new combat moves, and face off against their arch-nemesis.
Exploration is also a key part of the game. Players can forage in the wild, gather materials, and use these resources to craft items in their dens. Explorable areas include ThunderClan's dense forests, RiverClan's marshes, ShadowClan's dark pine swamps, and WindClan's open moors.
In addition to the clan territories, sacred locations such as the Moonpool and the island will appear in the game. Players can climb trees, leap through bushes, track scents, and solve environmental puzzles to gradually uncover the secrets of StarClan.
Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest is planned to launch on Steam, Epic Games Store, PS5, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
