Recent reports suggest that GTA VI will arrive on PC sooner than we imagined.
VGC journalist Andy Robinson revealed that there are "some rumors" suggesting the PC version could be released surprisingly quickly. Robinson noted that console prices continue to rise years after launch, which might pressure Take-Two to bring GTA VI to PC less than a year after its initial release.
"I do believe they will accelerate the PC release. There are indeed some rumors circulating about it. Perhaps due to various current factors, the PC version might be released earlier than expected."
The previous title, Grand Theft Auto V, was first released on September 17, 2013, for PS3 and Xbox 360. It didn't arrive on Windows PC until April 2015, a year and seven months (19 months) later.
Many players may not have next-gen consoles but do have PCs. With technologies like NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FSR, GTA VI can run smoothly even on lower-spec computers.
